We’re excited to announce the addition of two new teas to our collection, just in time for the chilly months! Mountain Tea Company is always pushing toward increasingly sustainable and environmentally conscious gardens. This Fall we are proud to unveil a third USDA-certified organic tea to our collection, a USDA Organic JinXuan oolong! Fans of JinXuan oolong--nicknamed NaiXiang or Milk Oolong in the East--will appreciate the round and creamy-smooth mouthfeel A slight citrus taper in the taste will encourage another brew. and you’ll be happy to discover that this tea has incredible re-steeping potential on par with the highest quality teas.
Next, due to popular demand, we’ve also been developing BaoZhong style tea in our gardens. After much hard work, we feel that we’ve reached a level of quality that will satisfy and delight our discerning customers. BaoZhong is distinct from our other fine green oolong teas in that it is twisted, not rolled during the finishing touches of production. The character is also attention-grabbing, with a distinct two-phase palate: an initial two or three seconds of punchy and bold Gardenia and Hibiscus followed by soft apricot, melon and Asian pear flavors. Our BaoZhong contains absolutely no other flavoring; the highest quality teas require nothing added, afterall.
