Earl Grey is made with Assam tea leaf, flavored with oil from the rind of bergamot oranges. The bergamot flavors are nasal, citrus-sweet, and taper quickly. The flavors lower in the mouth encapsulate the best of dark teas, a caramel sweetness and lingers longer. We found that our Earl Grey tea sachet can easily resteep two to three flavorful cups.
